Project introduction

With the depletion of shallow earth resources, it has become a national strategic demand to ask for space from deep earth and resources from deep earth. Its common scientific basis is deep in-situ rock mechanics theory. "In situ fidelity coring and fidelity testing and analysis system for deep rock" is a major scientific research instrument development project of National Natural Science Foundation of China. It is the first time to propose "Five Guarantees" Coring (pressure protection, quality assurance, heat preservation, light preservation and moisture preservation) to obtain "living" samples from deep earth to solve the in-situ fidelity problem, aiming to create a new theoretical system of deep in-situ rock mechanics and fill in the international arena The theory and technology of in-situ study of deep rock mechanics is blank.

The instrument consists of three parts: in-situ fidelity coring system, in-situ fidelity displacement system and in-situ fidelity testing system. It will realize the "Five Guarantees" of in-situ state of rock in the whole process of in-situ coring from deep, ground transfer and storage, sample preparation and physical and mechanical testing, so as to carry out the occurrence characteristics and physical and mechanical properties of deep in-situ rocks and different deposit depths In order to improve the ability of obtaining deep resources and explore the new mysteries of the earth's deep, we can obtain new data and establish new models for the different characteristics of different depths of the earth.

The research and development of this important instrument not only provides a new research method for deep earth exploration, deep mineral and oil and gas resources exploitation, geothermal development, nuclear waste disposal, earthquake prediction, paleogeography and tectonics, deep disaster control, underground city construction, military protection engineering, underground energy storage, polar development, seabed mining and other projects related to deep earth resources and space development It also provides theoretical, technical and hardware support for the establishment of new disciplines in the future, such as deep environmental science, deep earth material science, deep earth agricultural science, deep geological medicine, deep soil microorganism and life science.
